Inside the Creative Mind

My Creative Journey

Since I was a child, I have always been drawn to things that held deeper meaning. I remember looking at objects, shapes, even patterns in nature, and wondering what stories they might be telling. That initial curiosity marked the beginning of a journey that eventually led me to design, but also to reflect on how I want to live and create.

The Boldness of Breaking Conventions

When I discovered Nietzsche in my youth, his philosophy resonated with me like a call to freedom. He spoke of breaking away from inherited values and building your own—something I had always felt internally, even before fully understanding it.

As a designer, this idea drove me to seek authenticity. I don’t want my work to follow fleeting trends; I want every piece I create to be a unique expression, filled with strength and meaning. Nietzsche said the “overman” is someone who dares to constantly reinvent themselves, and I believe that is also the task of a designer. Every ring, every gemstone, every detail I choose is an opportunity to tell a new story, to create something that speaks of connection and empowerment.

Serenity in Uncertainty

Later in life, when I started facing the real challenges of design—deadlines, expectations, and the pressure to innovate—I found in Stoicism a balance I didn’t know I needed.

Often, I find myself staring at a blank canvas: a space full of possibilities, but also doubts. In those moments, Stoicism reminds me that I can’t control everything, but I can control my focus, my effort, and my intention.

"You have power over your mind, not outside events." – Marcus Aurelius

These words guide me whenever I feel external noise threatens to distract me from what truly matters: the act of creating something authentic, timeless, and deeply human.

Designing as an Act of Meaning

When I design, I am not just creating a piece of jewelry; I am shaping an idea, a moment in time. I like to think that every ring I design is not just an object but a symbol—something someone will wear and that will become part of their story.

In that sense, my work is not about me; it’s about the lives my pieces will touch. Over the years, I have learned to embrace impermanence. Every design reflects not only my skills at that moment but also my emotions and reflections. Accepting that a piece will never be “perfect” frees me to fully enjoy the creative process.

A Bridge Between Philosophy and Art

People often ask me why I talk so much about philosophy when designing jewelry. The truth is, I cannot separate one from the other. For me, designing is a deeply philosophical act. It’s my way of exploring concepts like balance, resilience, and beauty—not in a theoretical way, but in a tangible one.

For example, when I combine minimalist geometry with the complexity of a natural gemstone, I am searching for that balance between simplicity and complexity, between the ephemeral and the eternal. Every decision, from the material to the finish, is a conversation between these concepts.

Creating from the Heart

Looking back, I see how my creative process and my life have taught me to be bold, to break boundaries, and to remain calm amid uncertainty.

Today, every piece I design reflects that balance between boldness and serenity. My work serves as a reminder that through creation, we can find purpose, strength, and, most importantly, connection.

For me, designing is not just a job; it’s my way of making sense of the world, of sharing who I am and what I believe. Every ring, every gemstone, every line is an invitation to reflect, to connect, and to discover the beauty in the simple and the meaningful.
